BioCoteThe Latest in Active Bacteria Control

Why BioCote® ?
BioCote® is a safe, effective antimicrobial technology that does not wear off or leach.

How is it applied?
BioCote® powder coating incorporates a silver-based antimicrobial agent within the manufacturing process so that all powder coated surfaces will have antimicrobial properties.

Is BioCote® safe?
Silver is a safe, natural, yet powerful anti-microbial that has been used for many centuries for its abilities to aid preservation. BioCote's innovative technology utilizes the power of silver and incorporates it into products, giving them anti-microbial properties.

Durability and effectiveness
BioCote® does not change the look or feel of products, instead it protects surfaces, 24 hours a day, against bacteria, mold and fungi. BioCote® will not wear out or rub off products over time, making it effective for the lifetime of any product. Accelerated life-cycle tests have shown no significant reduction in the anti-microbial efficacy of products protected by BioCote®.

Does BioCote® rub off over time?
BioCote® will not break down or leach out of products and has very low toxic effects, providing a natural alternative to synthetic, organic chemicals.

Is BioCote® effective against antibiotic resistant bacteria?
Silver does not function in the same way as antibiotics, therefore, there is no known evidence to suggest that bacteria are resistant to it.

Ultra Violet Light

  • Carbon Filtration and UV
  • A Fresh Approach and New Look
  • Tested and Certified Treatment Technology
  • The Innowave systems use two different filters to treat the drinking water. First, a 5-micron Sediment Filter traps sediment and solid particle matter. Then, a Carbon Block Filter traps contaminants as small as one micron. This one-micron filter is tested and certified by WQA according to NSF/ANSI Standard 53: Drinking Water Treatment Units, Health Effects, for the reduction of at least 90% of lead and 99.99% of cysts. The Carbon Block Filter is also certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42: Aesthetic Effects, for the improvement of taste, odor and aesthetic chlorine reduction.
  • Self-Sanitizing Feature
  • Non-chlorinated drinking water can be a breeding ground for heterotrophic (non-disease causing) bacteria growth. In a typical water cooler, this can lead to bio-film, a slimy coating of bacteria that can adhere to the storage tank. The Innowave system utilizes re-circulating UV to help keep the cooling tank clean and control the growth of bio-film and heterotrophic bacteria. This sanitization feature re-circulates water through an ultraviolet chamber at the rate of 60 gallons per hour, which maintains the quality of the drinking water while it is being stored.

Innowave Treatment Process

  1. Micron Filtration
    • Traps contaminants as small as one micron (.00004 in.)
    • Reduces lead, chlorine, cysts and organic contaminants
  2. Carbon Filtration
    • Reduces additional volatile organic contaminants
    • Polishes the taste
  3. Ultraviolet Light
    • Controls bio-film and heterotrophic bacteria
    • Sanitizes the cooling tank
